Well, good luck trying to find a Kleenex to dry those eyes.

CTV reported Thursday evening that Kimberly-Clark is discontinuing its consumer facial tissue business in Canada this month, citing “unique complexities” within the market. The company’s professional facial products and consumer hand towels, however, will continue to be sold in Canada, CTV reported, along with other Kimberly-Clark brands like Cottonelle, Viva, U by Kotex, Poise, Depend, Huggies, Pull-Ups and Goodnites.

“The decision was incredibly difficult for us to make and we appreciate consumers allowing us into their homes over the decades and to our retail partners for their support,” Kimberly-Clark Canadian vice-president and general manager Todd Fisher said in a statement to CTV.

Fisher added in the statement to CTV that the decision will “allow us to shift our resources to better focus on other brands in Canada.”
