Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae Celebrate 3 Years of Marriage: 'No Amount of You Is Ever Enough' (2025)

Three years into their marriage, Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae still can’t get enough of each other!

The couple celebrated their third wedding anniversary on Tuesday, April 1, and both the actress, 28, and musician, 30, marked the marriage milestone with tributes to each other on Instagram — including never-before-seen photos and videos from their secret New Orleans nuptials.

Taylor-Joy kept her post short and sweet, sharing a film photo of her and McRae at the altar, the musician holding his handwritten wedding vows as she looked lovingly at him through her veil.

She also shared a clip of the couple dancing together in the candlelit building where they said “I do,” swaying hand-in-hand to the twinkling intro of “The Downtown Lights” by The Blue Nile.

“Everything, always,” The Gorge actress wrote in the caption. “Happy anniversary my love 🦢.”

Her musician beau, meanwhile, shared several snaps of himself and Taylor-Joy, kicking off his tribute with a sweet behind-the-scenes clip of the couple posing for a shot. In the video, the actress tips her large hat as McRae leans in to plant a kiss on her shoulder.

The musician — who plays guitar, piano and sings for the band more* — also included some mirror selfies, a posed picture and even a paparazzi shot of the couple and, in the caption, penned a heartfelt message to his wife of three years.

“No amount of you is ever enough,” he said of Taylor-Joy. “Happy three years of marriage, angel. It just keeps getting better.”

Taylor-Joy and McRae — who first met in March 2021 — secretly wed in New Orleans in April 2022, and tied the knot for a second time in Venice in September 2023.

The pair kept both ceremonies largely under wraps until April 2024, when the actress marked their second anniversary with an Instagram post.

“Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans,” she wrote at the time. “The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever. Happy second ( first ) anniversary my love…you’re the coolest🫀.”

Also in the post, the actress highlighted some of the ceremony’s unique details, including anatomically correct heart cakes and her stunning, non-traditional gown: a dusty brown custom Dior gown embellished with flowers and birds.

The star also spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the couple’s secret nuptials shortly after, saying that both she and McRae were “pretty spy-oriented.”

"At the end of the day, it was about the two of us and so we ran away with our two best friends and had the most magical day possible," she told ET at the time. “It kind of made it all the more special, ‘cause it just felt like a secret that we got to keep to ourselves.”
